COPENHAGEN, Denmark: Turkish researchers have examined the extent to which artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms can identify periodontal status from two-dimensional radiographs. According to research, presented at EuroPerio10 in Copenhagen on June 16, the AI system can identify periodontal pathologies that dentists might not notice.
